We live in a time of many connections, but shallow connection. If you're on this page, it means we have met in person, online, or through a mutual connection... regardless, I value the opportunity to get to know you better.
My daughter once asked me, "Dad, what do you think you're really good at?". I pondered her question for a several minutes and replied, "Being a Dad". I did not say that just because she was my daughter, or because being a father has truly been the greatest blessing and gift of this life, I said that because there when I think about my life, and my achievements... it's truly is what I think I've done a good at. I also believe I'm pretty good at helping entrepreneurs and business owners become way more EPIC!
Since 2009, I have been helping entrepreneurs and businesses become more productive through proper priority planning and outsourcing. Over that time I've spoken and trained all over the world and have conducted well over 3000+ one on one consulting sessions. I speak not from grand success, but epic struggles, failures and experience. May my lessons become your fortunes.
Chapter 1
I was born and raised in the UK. In Dec 1977, when I was 8 years old, I had a life changing experience... I watched Star Wars Episode IV, I had no idea back than what an impact that movie would have on my beliefs about life and outlook on life. In my childhood I vividly remember a fondness for costumes and a passion for theatre.
I met my wife in Nov 1991, it was love at first light, as we were celebrating Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, the day we met.
Right after graduation in 1992, I saw a motivational speaker and felt a calling to speak on stage...but it took another 19 years to overcome my limiting beliefs and step onto the stage as a professional speaker.
We got married in 1996 and just over a year later we moved to Chicago in 1997. Three years later, a friend invited me to join him in a new business venture in San Diego. Shortly after my 1st daughter was born, I quit my job, and moved to San Diego in 2000.
Our second daughter was born in 2004, and while she filled out lives with so much joy, our dreams, hopes and spirations were crushed when we discovered our then partner was misleading us!
Chapter 2
To cut a long story short... we lost everything and the following several years we struggled financially. We also faced setbacks due to immigration, and had to leave the US on 3 occasions to abide by immigration laws.
I suffered from dark depression and reached a all time low in February 2009 with the dark thoughts of suicide as being the solution to our financial woes.
Thanks to the support of my wife, and love for my children, and our community of friends, I was able to take the steps and step by step, started to rebuild our lives.
In 2009, after reading the '4-Hour Work Week' by Tim Ferris, I stepped in the outsourcing world, first with a team of 3 VAs, and then working with a virtual assistant service center.
In a 2010 our immigration lawyer screwed up our application and told us we had to leave the USA. On July 4th 2010, Independence day we (I say we, but really it was my wife Yoggi), started to declutter and organize our life.
We sold, donated, trashed 95% of the things we owned. In September 2010, I left the US with 4 red duffel bags, 3 laptops, 2 daughters, 1 when and embarked on what became a 5-year global travel adventure.
This experience was the best 5 years of our life to date! As a family, we continue to embrace the spirit of adventure with love, peace and joy... knowing that challenges and setbacks are an integral part of the epic life adventures!
Chapter 3
In 2011 I stepped onto a stage for the first time as a professional speaker... 18 'short' years after I sat in the audience and had the thoughts of wanting to be professional speaker.
As a speaker, I am known for my cast of charismatic costumed characters. The different character allow me to connect to my childhood passions and dreams of theatre. They also help me teach content that relates to that character. People don't tend to remember content, but they rarely forget the characters.
In 2019, I parted ways with the call center, and started BeeEPiC Outsourcing, a network of seasoned home based Vital Assistants.
Today, I'm on a mission to entrepreneurs and business owners on how to be more Efficient (best use of time), Productive, Intentional, and
Completional... all traits I've personally struggled with.
In 2023, we launched Vital Playbook, a consulting company that used AI to help develop strategies and systems for businesses at a fraction of the cost and in hours versus months.
